Since purchasing his own personal Runco CRT projector in 1990, Donny Hackett has been obsessed with home theater front projection systems and innovative design ideas to surround them. During his 6 years in Southern California he worked with John Heberling of Innovative Theaters, Santa Monica, Steve Moore from Premier Entertainment, Hollywood and several other designers from Beverly Hills to Malibu. Incorporating his unique craftsmanship and automation engineering skills took him into upscale homes of the rich and famous and onto Studio film stages. His first custom-made projector lift is still in use in the former mansion of Liberace. With 25 plus years of experience in Drapery design and home décor and now over 16 years in Home theater and Home automation, Donny Hackett has managed to transform his passion for movies and electronic gadgets into a full time ambition.
